2018 Results

In 2016, new tests were introduced which set higher standards. This means that results will look very different from previous years, and should not be compared with them.

Key Stage 2
  • At the end of Key Stage 2, 73% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths; the national average was 64%
    • 83% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading; the national average was 75%
    • 80% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Writing; the national average was 78%
    • 87% of pupils acheived the expected standard in Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling; the national average was 78%
    • 83% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Maths; the national average was 76%
    • The average scaled score in Reading was 106
    • The average scaled score in GPS was 109
    • The average scaled score in Maths was 106
  • At the end of Key Stage 2, 13% of pupils achieved the higher level of attainment in Reading, Writing and Maths
    • 27% of pupils achieved the higher level of attainment in Reading
    • 40% of pupils achieved the higher level of attainment in Writing
    • 43% of pupils acheived the higher standard in Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling
    • 20% of pupils achieved the higher level of attainment in Maths
  • Progress measures are not yet available

 

EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE
  • 73% of pupils reached a 'Good Level of Development' at the end of the Foundation Stage.
