2017 Results

In 2016, new tests were introduced which set higher standards. This means that results will look very different from previous years, and should not be compared with them.

Key Stage 2
  • At the end of Key Stage 2, 71% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths; the national average was 61%
    • 76% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading; the national average was 71%
    • 83% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Writing; the national average was 76%
    • 79% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Maths; the national average was 75%
    • The average scaled score in Reading was 102.7
    • The average scaled score in Maths was 103.
  • At the end of Key Stage 2, 10% of pupils achieved the higher level of attainment in Reading, Writing and Maths; the national average was 9%
    • 28% of pupils achieved the higher level of attainment in Reading; the national average was 25%
    • 31% of pupils achieved the higher level of attainment in Writing; the national average was 18%
    • 28% of pupils achieved the higher level of attainment in Maths; the national average was 23%
  • Progress in Reading, Writing and Mathematics was significantly above the national average
    • The Reading progress score was 2.4, (confidence interval 0.1 to 4.7); this is significantly above the national average
    • The Writing progress score was 5.2, (confidence interval 2.9 to 7.5); this is significantly above the national average
    • The Mathematics progress score was 2.9, (confidence interval 0.8 to 5.2); this is significantly above the national average
KEY STAGE 1 SATS
    • 83% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading; 23% achieved the higher level of attainment.
    • 73% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Writing; 20% achieved the higher level of attainment.
    • 80% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Maths; 13% achieved the higher level of attainment.
EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE
  • 66% of pupils reached a 'Good Level of Development' at the end of the Foundation Stage.
